As part of an investment of 15 million euros, the world’s largest bicycle manufacturer, Taiwan’s Giant Group, has set up a new production plant in Gyöngyös. The new company, which will start on an area of 22 hectares, will soon start series production of Pedelec-type Ebikes, which are becoming more and more popular and sought after in Europe. Apart from Asia, Giant currently only manufactures bicycles in the Netherlands, and the double of the half a million bicycles produced there can be rolled off the production lines in Hungary.
As the construction of the plant is already in the last phase, production will start soon, and we have started setting up the guard service from today. As a long-term strategic security partner of Giant, we will be present on site with an ever-expanding number of staff.
